Daw Martial Arts & Fitness offers Martial Arts training for adults and youth ages 8 and up. Classes are one hour long, held in the evenings Monday through Thursday, making training easy to incorporate into most any schedule. Our Youth/Adult Program instructs members in Karate, Weaponry, Self Defence as well as general overall fitness. Fitness is a major focus in our program helping our members become strong and confident Martial Artists.
Traditional Shorinji Karate is an empty hand style of martial art that uses both hand and foot techniques
Okinawan Weaponry is the practice of the ancient art of Kobudo. Various weapons are continually introduced to students as they pass through the ranks.
Self Defence instruction involves stand up techniques that teach members to protect themselves in variety of situations.
Each person learns at a different pace and has a unique set of strengths and capabilities. Our instructors are patient and understanding of the learning process for martial arts students of all ages. We are dedicated to providing the necessary support to assist students along the way.
Trust is an essential pillar in any relationship. To work with one another, especially in self-defence, requires trust in order to work, learn, and lead effectively. We've created a positive and supportive environment where members (both students and instructors) can help and encourage each other as they learn and grow.
